Is Sourdough Starter Tracker free?

Yes. The core of the app is free, with ads: unlimited starters, feeding logs, reminders, health checks, safety alerts, the guides, the bake log, and your feeding history and calendar.

Is there a subscription?

No. Premium is a one-time purchase: $12.99 in the US. Prices vary by country, and the store shows yours before you buy.

What does Premium add?

Premium removes ads and adds the feeding calculator, the hydration calculator, Smart Health Tips, photos on feedings and health checks with a photo timeline, and backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive. If you only want the ads gone, Remove Ads is a separate one-time purchase: $1.99 in the US.

How many starters can I track?

As many as you like, in the free version too. Each starter has its own status, reminders and history.

Does it do more than remind me to feed?

Yes. It has a 14-day guide for making a new starter, a 7-day guide for reviving dried starter, a troubleshooting guide, a before-baking checklist, and a bake log with photos for every loaf.

Which devices and languages?

iPhone and iPad, and Android phones and tablets. The app is in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works offline and your logs stay on your phone. With Premium you can back them up to your own iCloud or Google Drive.
