TL;DR: Lupa's Fortune is an entertainment app. Fortunes and compatibility results are for fun only. You can play without creating a personal account; the app uses an anonymous profile to save your progress on our backend.

Anonymous Account

When you first open the app, Lupa's Fortune creates an anonymous account (via Supabase) so your stars, streaks, collected cards, and readings can be saved and restored. This account is not tied to your name or email unless you choose to link an Apple or Google sign-in for cross-device restore.

What we store on our backend

  • Your in-app profile: nickname, title, star balance, streak, draw count, collected fortune cards, and language preference
  • Your fortune and compatibility history, including the star sign, MBTI (optional), and relationship type you select
  • Compatibility readings you run, including any name you type in for the other person
  • Invite sessions: the invite code and the reading shared between an inviter and the person who joins
  • Reward history, including why stars were granted and when

Please only enter names or details you are comfortable saving. If you type another person's name into a compatibility reading, that text is stored as part of your reading history.

Entertainment Only

Fortunes, compatibility scores, and verdicts are generated for entertainment. They are not advice and are not a real prediction of the future, relationships, or personality.

Advertising

Lupa's Fortune shows ads through Google AdMob. The app does not ask for app-tracking permission and does not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. AdMob may still process limited device information to serve non-personalized ads. See Google's policies for details.

Purchases

Star packs, ad removal, and the Lupa's Pass subscription are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase and subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Invite Links

Invite and share links are handled by ChottuLink so a friend can open the same compatibility session. These links carry an invite code, not your personal information.

Children

Lupa's Fortune is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device. Because progress is saved to an anonymous backend account, you can request deletion of that account and its data by emailing us. Include enough detail for us to locate the account, such as your in-app nickname.
