Delete your Hello a Day account
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Hello a Day (안부한알) is published by MyQuietSpot Inc. This page explains how to delete your account and records, what is removed, and what is kept.
Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)
- Open Hello a Day.
- Tap the Settings tab at the bottom.
- Under Account, tap Delete account and data.
- Tap Delete to confirm. On iPhone, accounts that use Sign in with Apple show an Apple confirmation once, so we can try to disconnect Sign in with Apple. If you close it, nothing is deleted.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. Medicine photo files are removed from storage by an automatic cleanup within about an hour.
If you already uninstalled the app
- The surest way is to reinstall, sign in the same way as before (Apple or Google), and follow the steps above.
- Or email support@myquietspot.com from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will verify it is you, delete it within 10 days, and confirm.
- If you used Apple's Hide My Email, the address we have differs from your real one, so we may ask a few questions to confirm it is you.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (email address, Apple or Google sign-in link)
- Family connections, your role, your name and the names family use for you, and sharing settings
- For a parent: medicines, dose records, display settings, alarm logs, and medicine photos they sent and what the AI read from them
- Device details, push token, and phone check-in records
- Notes you sent or received, alerts about you, and alerts sent to you
- Your subscription record (Plus status)
- Parent phone numbers and contact preferences saved on this phone
If the last member of a family deletes their account, the whole family is deleted. If the family lead deletes theirs, the lead role passes to another family member.
What is kept
- If a family member deletes their account, the parent's medicines and dose records stay in the parent's account. They belong to the parent. If you are the only person looking after a parent, the app warns you first, and parents who agreed to sharing are notified afterwards.
- If a parent deletes their account, their medicines and records are all deleted and disappear from family screens too. If you need a clinic report, create it first.
- Photo reading logs: kept for up to 400 days from creation, for usage limits and abuse prevention. Your account number is kept only in hashed (scrambled) form, with no name or email.
- Invite code attempt records: kept for 30 days for abuse prevention, then deleted.
- Support emails: if you emailed us, those emails are kept for 3 years to handle inquiries and disputes.
- Server access logs: kept for 7 days for security and troubleshooting, then deleted.
- Payment records: kept by the App Store or Google Play and by RevenueCat (our subscription service) under their own policies. RevenueCat's record holds an account number, not your name or email. Email us if you want it removed and we will delete it.
- Analytics and crash data: collected per app installation, not linked to your name or email, and removed when Google's retention period ends.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in database backups for up to 7 days.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel a Plus subscription, and you will keep being charged until you cancel. Cancel first at App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. In the app, Settings › Plan › Manage subscription opens the right page.
Sign in with Apple
Deleting from the iPhone app also tries to disconnect Sign in with Apple. If that fails, your account is still deleted. If the connection is still there, or you deleted on Android or by email, disconnect Hello a Day yourself on your iPhone under Settings › your name › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple (menu names vary by iOS version). For Google, remove it from your Google Account's connected apps.
Stopping only part of it
- Stop sharing with family: Settings › Family who see my medicine › choose the person › Stop sharing
- Stop AI photo reading: Settings › Medicines › Withdraw AI photo reading consent
- Consent to store medication records is required to use the app, so withdrawing it means deleting your account.
