How do I add a pet?
Tap the "+" button. Enter your pet's name, species, and photo. You can add multiple pets.
How do I set up medication reminders?
Open your pet's profile and tap Add Medication. Set the medication name, dosage, unit, schedule, and reminder time. You can use daily, every-other-day, weekly, or custom schedules.
Can I track multiple pets?
Yes! Add unlimited pets with their own medication schedules and reminders.
How do I mark a dose?
When a reminder appears, tap "Given" or "Skipped." You can also mark doses from the schedule view. A dose can be logged up to one hour before its scheduled time.
Can I track pill inventory or refill needs?
Yes. When adding or editing a medication, turn on inventory tracking, enter the current supply, set how much is used per dose, and choose a low-inventory threshold. The app shows a low-inventory alert when the medication is running low.
Can I use half tablets or syringes?
Yes. You can record half-tablet amounts such as 0.5, and syringe is available as a medication unit along with tablets, capsules, drops, liquids, and other common units.
Can I edit a dose time after logging it?
Yes. Open the History screen, select the log entry, and edit the recorded given time if it was entered incorrectly.
Can I export medication records for my vet?
Yes. Premium users can export medication records as CSV or PDF from Settings. Exports include pet details, medications, inventory information, scheduled times, given times, and dose status.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Check that notifications are allowed for Pet Pill Reminder in your device settings. On Android, also check that battery optimization is not preventing the app from scheduling reminders.
What does Premium include?
Premium is a one-time purchase. It removes ads and unlocks dark mode, CSV/PDF export, and follow-up reminders. There is no subscription.
