TL;DR: Your pet profiles, medication schedules, inventory counts, and dose history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your pet's medication records.
Data Storage
Pet Pill Reminder stores pet profiles, medication schedules, dosage details, inventory settings, reminder preferences, and medication logs locally on your device.
What stays on your device
- Pet profiles and photos
- Medication names, dosage units, schedules, and notes
- Inventory counts, low-inventory thresholds, and amount used per dose
- Dose history, including given, skipped, early, late, and edited times
- Reminder and follow-up reminder settings
Exports
If you use CSV or PDF export, the app creates a file on your device and opens the system share sheet. We do not receive, store, or transmit those exported files unless you choose to share them through another app or service.
Notifications
Medication reminders and follow-up reminders are scheduled through your device's local notification system. Reminder content is not sent to MyQuietSpot servers.
Third-Party Services
Google AdMob & Unity Ads: We display ads through Google AdMob and Unity Ads. An optional one-time Premium purchase removes ads. These services may collect device identifiers and usage data according to their respective privacy policies.
Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns, such as which features are used. This helps us improve the app.
Apple App Store & Google Play: Optional Premium purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment details.
No Account Required
You do not need to create an account to use Pet Pill Reminder. Core features work offline after setup.
Data Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device, subject to your device backup settings. We do not have pet medication records on our servers to delete.
