What is Custom Wood Quote Board for?
Custom Wood Quote Board helps small woodshops, custom furniture makers, and cabinet installers build customer quotes, check margin, catch missing supplier prices, calculate deposits, and prepare buy lists.
How do I start a quote?
Tap New Quote from the Quotes tab, enter a quote title and optional customer name, then add materials, hardware, finish, labor, and adjustments. You can also preview a starter template in Presets and confirm before creating a real quote.
Why does the app show supplier price warnings?
Lines with a zero or unconfirmed cost are treated as estimates. The quote workflow highlights missing supplier prices so you can jump to the exact line before sending the customer quote.
What units can I use?
Material lines support board ft, linear ft, sheet, sq ft, and each. Hardware lines support each, set, pair, pack, and box. Finish lines support oz, qt, gal, can, kit, and each. Labor uses hours, and adjustment lines cover fixed add-ons or credits.
How do margin and deposit checks work?
The app totals quote lines, applies tax and deposit assumptions, then compares the result with your target margin. You can adjust tax, target margin, and deposit per quote, and set default waste, markup, hourly rate, and labor cost assumptions in Settings.
What is the buy list?
The buy list groups supplier-facing items by materials, hardware, and finish. Premium users can export it as CSV for supplier ordering or shop handoff.
Can I archive or delete a quote?
Yes. Open a quote, use the More menu, then choose Archive, Restore, Duplicate, Save as Preset, Share text, or Delete. Delete asks for confirmation before removing the quote.
What does Premium unlock?
Premium is a one-time purchase. It unlocks unlimited active quote boards, customer-ready PDF export, buy-list CSV export, saved presets, and removes banner and occasional interstitial ads.
Where is my quote data stored?
Your quote boards, line items, assumptions, and presets are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes local data unless your device operating system keeps a backup.
