TL;DR: Backup Power Log stores your generator profile, run logs, fuel records, maintenance notes, reminder settings, checklist state, and location records locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores this app data.

Data Storage

Backup Power Log stores generator details, readiness settings, run test logs, fuel refill logs, service records, checklist state, reminder settings, notes, and app preferences locally on your device.

What stays on your device

  • Generator or backup power location name, model, fuel type, fuel capacity, fuel estimate, and service interval
  • Run test history, runtime, and notes
  • Fuel refill amounts, optional cost, and notes
  • Maintenance dates, service notes, and optional cost
  • Outage checklist state, reminder settings, app settings, and local preferences

No Account Required

You can use Backup Power Log without creating an account. The app's core features work offline after installation.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally through your device's notification system. Reminder content is not sent to MyQuietSpot servers.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, feature usage, ad flow, and purchase funnel performance. Analytics events do not include your generator notes, log details, checklist text, or exported report content.

Advertising

The free version of Backup Power Log may show banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Premium removes ads. Google AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, and diagnostic data according to Google's privacy policy.

In-App Purchases

Backup Power Log Premium is a one-time unlock processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle your payment card information directly.

Cloud Sync

Backup Power Log does not include a MyQuietSpot account or cloud sync service for your generator records.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device, subject to your device backup settings. Because we do not store your backup power records on our servers, there is no server-side archive to delete.
